FIFOdSo I got into a pickle with my nvidia drivers. I did a sudo-apt get upgrade and got and got this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-331/+bug/1370859 Trying to switch back to nouveau driver and I get this error: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-331/+bug/1369398 Any ideas on how to work around this?02:30

xubuntu47wwhere can i find a summary of all known issues in the beta? i'd like to check whether a bug is already reported or not19:34
k1l_launchpad.net19:34
elfyxubuntu ones that we're specifically worried are on the release notes19:35
k1l_that is the official bugtracker. you can use the search or see the specific package and click on the bugs tab19:35
elfyhttp://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/reports/defects for everything reported on images19:35
elfyand as k1l_ says - all is on launchpad somewhere19:35
xubuntu47wokay thanks!19:36
elfyif it IS xubuntu specific - what is it?19:36
xubuntu47wno it's about the FDE if you remember it19:37
elfynope - rings no bells19:37
xubuntu47wi was here some time ago and you confirmed the issue back then19:37
elfyI'm getting on - I have trouble remembering yesterday :)19:38
elfyxubuntu47w: tbh - I'm more likely to remember things that are associated with *real* nicks than generated ones like xubuntu47w19:39
xubuntu47wif disk encryption is enabled while installation then it won't work on boot19:40
elfyI do remember19:40

xubuntu47wyes i see but i didn't have an account back then and while creating one for reporting it failed so i still have no account19:41
elfysso account?19:41
xubuntu47wubuntu one account19:41
elfyyea - just try again - if it failed I'd guess you'll not get e-mail issues19:42
xubuntu47wdo i need an account to check whether it is already reported? sorry, i don't have much experience reporting or searching issues19:45
elfyno - you should be able to search without one19:46
elfyI'd expect that to be reported somewhere19:46
xubuntu47wpreferably on launchpad?19:46
elfyxubuntu doesn't test that - not sure about other flavours - but Ubuntu does test lvm and encryption19:47
xubuntu47wit seems to affect all flavors19:48
elfywhat exactly is the bug?19:49
lordievaderelfy: Kubuntu does too. Or at least they did previously.19:50
xubuntu47wi think i found a report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/136233319:50
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1362333 in ubiquity (Ubuntu) "After reboot of Ubuntu Gnome installation, password for LVM encryption is not accepted" [Undecided,Confirmed]19:50
elfyxubuntu47w: cool - was just looking at that one19:50
elfyhi lordievader :)19:51
lordievadero/19:51
xubuntu47wthe last comment (martin) presumes that it is a plymouth issue but it also won't work in advanced-recovery mode19:57
