SuperEngineerBasingstoke is NOT in North Wales, Basingstoke is NOT in North Yorkshire, Hampshire is NOT in Northern Ireland, Hampshire is NOT in Northumbria...12:15
SuperEngineeror Nottinghamshire...12:15
SuperEngineer...Shropshire is NOT in Avn & Somerset...12:16

SuperEngineer[deliberate mis-spelling]12:28
zmoylan-pipeople have had trouble with mail mergers and form letters since word star :-)12:29

popeyhttp://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/97728515:47
diddledanoh, it's an atom!15:52
diddledanI wonder what the battery life is compared to an arm of similar benchmark scores?15:53
ali1234what is the point of hudl?16:14
ali1234i mean for someone who already owns several tablets16:15
directhexpopey, good find16:31
directhexpopey, pegatron as an ODM are lower down the chain than an OEM like archos, so it would be cheaper than going through a middle-man16:32
bigcalmGood morning peeps :)17:22
popeyhttps://github.com/MichaelJCole/bithammer  interesting17:24
zmoylan-pithey're cheap generic tablets and if you already shop at tesco and have a club card you can get them *very* cheap17:24
bigcalmpopey: very17:28
directhexzmoylan-pi, we got a case for hour hudl 1, a hudl 2, and a hudl 2 case, for £1.75 and some clubcard points17:40
zmoylan-pidoesn't get cheaper than that, does it? :-)17:42
zmoylan-pibut it still wouldn't encourage me to get a club card :-)17:43
l34rnhi18:29
l34rnCan i ask question?18:29
l34rnwhat affect command aptitude install -f ?18:29
=== l34rn is now known as Kamkam_Haha
=== Kamkam_Haha is now known as L34rn
shauno-f is fix.  if a previous install went wrong half way through, it should try to fix the muddle18:33
directhextypically -f will try to finish any interrupted package installations, or install new packages if an installed package is missing a dependency (e.g. you manually installed a .deb with "dpkg -i" and it has missing dependencies, aptitutde -f can unravel that & fill in the gaps)18:34
kamkam_hi18:36
SuperEngineerdirecthex: do you know if it would cure a problem with a deb fill that refuses to instaall because of deprecated package?18:37
directhexSuperEngineer, only if the deprecated packages it expects are available in a configured repository18:37
SuperEngineerthanks, directhex - unfortunately that is the case.... ho hum18:38
SuperEngineer[i.e. not available]18:39
