jduckhello19:35
jduckhas anyone seen problems with the -37 kernel on 14.04 ?19:35
jducki'm getting weird behavior where incoming packets are not making it back to my userspace programs19:36
jducki rebooted into a -32 kernel and its not happening19:36
jduckhas anyone else seen this?19:53
jduckthis channel is so dead!22:27
rwwIt's a coordination channel, not a support channel, so people don't tend to sit around waiting for questions to appear.22:37
apwjduck, i do not recall seeing anyone mentioning anything like that, no.  some sort of example so we know waht sort of data might help.22:54
jduckfair enough22:55
jduckall i did was ran ping 8.8.8.8. after a bit i saw packet loss, so i used tcpdump and saw the packets were still coming in, but not making it to ping program22:56
apwjduck, and this wasn't during the recent 8.8.8.8 outage i assume.  so i guess if you could file a bug on linux from the broken one, and add some example ping output from the broken one, and the working one you have; do include both version numbers in the report23:02
jduckapw: no, the packets were definitely coming back from 8.8.8.8 (LOL)23:55
jduckwhere do i file such a bug? do i have to sign up?23:58
