[14:38] bug 1382577 in ubiquity (Ubuntu) "Odd wording in new warning" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1382577 [15:03] elfy: makes sense to me... [15:03] thanks dkessel === chains_ is now known as Greg-Boggs- === Greg-Boggs- is now known as Greg-Boggs-pnwds [16:46] yeah i think so [16:46] oops wrong channel hahah [16:46] i'm so good at that [16:47] hey bdmurray is there i can update apt before going through the debian-installer process? seems the old upload is still on the current image. or should i just request a respin? [16:49] I haven't used the alternate installer in quite some time, but I believe you might be able to switch to another terminal after networking is setup and install the new version of apt. [16:49] bdmurray: meaning i'd have to download the deb and dpkg it [16:51] you couldn't install it from the archive? [16:52] well i can't install it like normal. it is apt after all :) [16:53] Does apt-get upgrade not update apt itself? [16:56] well it does. assuming it works fine :) i guess we'll find out. firing up the image now. [16:56] thx for your help bdmurray [16:57] btw you're in or, bdmurray ? i'm still trying to figure out how pool ubuntu-us-or together again :) [16:59] I'm actually in Vancouver, WA but that is part of the Portland Metropolitan Statistical Area as I'm fond of saying. [17:00] hahahha well i'm way down in eugene. i guess that's the hardest part of the whole thing is i'm not where most of the action's at :) [17:00] so if i get to a vt after networking i get a busybox shell. apt/dpkg are not found. [17:01] unfortunately the process is a little mysterious to me when it comes to debian-installer [17:01] i think i'll just request a respin [17:01] alright, like I said its been a while since I've played with the alternate installer [17:02] alright rebuild in progress [17:06] who's release manager for ubuntu server? i don't want to just trigger rebuilds for them [17:07] I don't recall [18:26] balloons, hi === roadmr is now known as roadmr_afk [18:55] How do I file a bug against a testcase again? === roadmr_afk is now known as roadmr === salem_ is now known as _salem
