learner | Hi, I have got 3 Virtual machines on a remote server. All VMs have private IP and behind NAT. I want the VMs to communication to each other but one of the VMs is not replying to ping. 1 to 2 and 1 to 3 is fine. 2 to 3 and 2 to 1 is fine. But 3 to 1 and 3 to 2 is not pinging | 12:34 |
learner | What could be wrong? | 12:34 |
learner | I mean Machine 1 is not reachable from 2 and 3. | 12:35 |
learner | But 2 and 3 are reachable from 1 | 12:35 |
learner | 1 => {2, 3} is fine. But {2, 3} => 1 is not pinging | 12:36 |
learner | I have disabled ufw | 12:36 |
learner | Any reason you see | 12:36 |
lordievader | learner: How did you setup the networking and what hypervisor do you use? | 12:41 |
learner | lordievader: Found the solution. I had closed icmp echo in sysctl.conf . It works now | 12:56 |
learner | Thanks | 12:56 |
