My test instance is on the latest source without any apparent data loss.  I was also able to get the search terms python code to work, so this should be a fairly clean upgrade during our next maintinance window.
[21:17] <kb9vqf> Though I did notice that the OpenID code had changed enough to break compatibility with our old provider (sreg), so I spent the past day or so fixing and cleaning up a brand new provider based on the Prairie open source provider.  With a small patch to Launchpad to support the different URL format the new provider works great; if anyone wants to deploy launchpad and needs the code just ask. ;-)
