[09:08] Launchpad bug 1388219 in osm-gps-map (Ubuntu) "Please add version 0.7.3-3ubuntu1 of osm-gps-map to utopic and vivid" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1388219 [12:53] After a short discussion here (LP: #1388219), it's only considered necessary to get the trusty-version of osm-gps-map into utopic (and not vivid). Can someone please nominate this for utopic? [12:53] Launchpad bug 1388219 in osm-gps-map (Ubuntu) "Please add version 0.7.3-3ubuntu1 of osm-gps-map to utopic" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1388219 [13:55] Hi there. I am an ubuntu user since many years and now I would like try to help also by triaging some bugs in my spare time. I've been reading the wiki about the procedure and the methods to follow for triaging but it is not clear to me where to start: how to pick my first bug and how to proceed on it. May someone introduce me to this pratices? [14:12] bodom: Hi :) There are different ways, I would recommend starting with one or two packages you are familiar with/use a lot. Then you can look through the currently open bugs, see whether you are able to reproduce any of them, provide more information etc. [14:15] (I have to go in 10 minutes time, but if you have other questions I'm sure someone will be around to answer them :) ) [14:24] hjd: thank you, i'll follow your advice === MagicalPumpkin is now known as magical_mystery === magical_mystery is now known as magic [21:47] Any help on bug #1358966?
