lfaraoneIs there any way to verify the authenticity of kernels uploaded to http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa ? 00:36
lfaraoneI'm wary of downloading over HTTP and not being able to check a signature. 00:36

td1212Hello04:00
td1212I have dell 5737 laptop and since the ubuntu 14.04 upgrade it consistently frezes as soon as resuming from suspend04:01
td1212I tried pretty much all upstream kernels since 14.04 - the same04:01
td1212My quick question - can I keep loading old kernel 3.11.10 with new 14.10 release?04:03
td1212anyone?04:12
apwtd1212 (N,BFTL), that sounds like an issue i have been tracking recently and may be fixed in an update shortly, in the short term yes you can run the older kerenl but it won't get updated08:09

jibelapw, morning. I added DKMS tests for Vivid. They'll appear on next run of the job. I kept Utopic until it's EOL in July next year.09:19
apwjibel, most excellent, thank you for that09:23
apwjibel, did you add PPA as well ?09:23
jibelapw, yes09:23
apwgreat :)09:24
apwjibel, what triggers those dkms jobs, is it next kernel change?10:37
jibelapw, Daily check of a kernel or dkms module update.10:38
apwjibel, ok so "sometime in the next 24 hours" we'd expect a baseline to drop out.  great10:39
jibelapw, every day at 2:23UTC10:39
jibelapw, everything seems quiet now, I'll start a run of vivid.10:39
apwhey thanks10:40
apwjibel, the replication for those jobs, is that something which is time based, or is that something which also needs adding12:43
jibelapw, if by replication you mean publication to jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com, it's automated. the CI team has to create the views manually12:47
jibelI sent an RT for that12:47
apwjibel, i do, and great13:12
