[21:15] <GunnarHj> robert_ancell: The actual issue is this: Previously, if one of the profile files tried to source a file - e.g. in /etc/profile.d/ - with invalid sh syntax, the problem was logged in ~/.xsession-errors. Currently the problem gets only logged in a /tmp file.

[21:18] <GunnarHj> robert_ancell: Its purpose is to trigger a dialog in case of errors, and it does for other kinds of errors but syntax errors in all files, and for syntax errors directly in one of the profile files.
