[11:35] I ran into problems while commissioning machines without IPMI, they show up as "ready" in the webinterface of MAAS but are all listed with the purpose "poweroff" for PXE booting [11:41] sayon: IPMI is just one method of controlling power. You can also use AMT, for instance, if your hardware supports it. [11:42] If your hardware doesn't have any support for remotely controlling power, use the Wake-on-LAN method. You'll sometimes have to turn the machines off manually though. [11:42] (And on as well, if you don't actually have wake-on-LAN) [13:13] ok thanks alot jtv === roadmr is now known as roadmr_afk === cmagina_ is now known as cmagina === roadmr_afk is now known as roadmr [15:43] howdy [15:44] We got our first MaaS node installed, and then we wanted to add more ssh keys [15:44] There doesn't seem to be a server process on the MaaS slaves though [15:44] Do we need to reinstall the entire node to get the new keys installed? [17:32] dpb1: I think so, yes :/ how did you launch the installation? using the web UI, acquired then started the node [17:33] Dom_Q ^^ (argh he left) [17:33] 2 hours later I reply... damn :) === Dom_Q_ is now known as Dom_Q === Dom_Q_ is now known as Dom_Q === roadmr is now known as roadmr_afk === roadmr_afk is now known as roadmr === CyberJacob|Away is now known as CyberJacob
