adrian15 | I have an Ubuntu 14.04 server virtual machine which just disappears (the kvm process no longer runs). Can I blame the ubuntu kernel for that? Can the kernel just poweroff the computer? Does it have an special name for it? Kernel version: 3.13.0-43-generic . Thank you. | 22:56 |
apw | adrian15, i would expect kvm to log the rewason it exited somewhere, and that to tell you if the inner kernel exited things, or kvm outside had an issue | 23:06 |
adrian15 | apw: I only have these two messages at the host's syslog: http://paste.ubuntu.com/9574257/ . I suspect they happen to be after the virtual machine poweroffs and not before it. Is there any specific kvm log files? Or is it ok by taking a look at syslog? | 23:09 |
