papou84 | hi !! | 16:55 |
papou84 | is there anybody ? | 16:56 |
papou84 | i'm looking for a page that explain how to configure ubuntustudio on imac 7,1 | 17:02 |
papou84 | is there someone that can help me ? | 17:02 |
HarryHaaren | papou84, https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Intel_iMac tried this? | 17:03 |
papou84 | i already try this before but i'm looking for somthing specific because i want to be shure that ubuntustudio is using the entire power of my computer | 17:08 |
papou84 | thank's for the answer | 17:08 |
HarryHaaren | papou84, if it installs and works, then it'll use all the power that's there :) | 17:09 |
papou84 | ok thank's a lot | 17:09 |
papou84 | is there a kind of to do list after i installed ubuntustudio to take away every thing that could consume the power in a usless way | 17:11 |
papou84 | :) | 17:11 |
HarryHaaren | papou84, ubuntu generally runs pretty OK without such tuning: if you really want a bare-bones system then say so, but otherwise I'd just use it :) | 17:13 |
papou84 | fglrx is still maintained on 14.04 ? | 17:13 |
papou84 | because when i write down this command it gives me fglrxinfo : Le programme « fglrxinfo » peut être trouvé dans les paquets suivants. the program can't be found | 17:15 |
eric_ | Hello. Can anyone help with getting Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1 to work on (latest) Ubuntu Studio? Under Volume Control I do get the card recognised (instead of the motherboard one), there is the name of the driver there and I get a valid looking output indication there but nothing is coming through on the headphones. Bios is set to auto for onboad sound and that seems alright. Anyone have suggestions? | 23:37 |
eric_ | there is just hum in outputs | 23:53 |
