[10:52] stgraber: . (lxcfs) [11:20] can anybody please unblock virtualbox/precise? [11:20] I'm getting new bug reports daily for this issue [11:53] ping for lts-utopic? [11:53] anyone? [15:42] yo, could someone stroke the vivid-proposed kernel through new for us please === bjf is now known as __bjf [16:05] infinity: bug 1398975. I can verify the fix for utopic, but since trusty doesn't seem to exhibit the same problem I can't easily 'verify' the fix. but i can verify it doesn't break things. [16:06] infinity: i think its a defensive patch anyway and shouldn't harm trusty. applying it would be nice in case there are other setups that may trigger the right pthread program and thus crash the kernel on a microcode update [16:07] (or segfault programs) [17:11] i disabled the s-i importer since we need to do a coordinated build for touch === jpds is now known as Guest41488 [17:49] arges: trusty doesn't (or shouldn't) exhibit the problem because it's not configure with lock elision turned on. But that doesn't make the code less correct, so if the patch is identical on U and T, and it works on U, I'll call that verified enough. [17:55] infinity: are you around? [17:55] infinity: ack thanks [17:55] tseliot: Somewhat. [17:56] infinity: my core dev account expired while I was on holiday. Do you know what I have to do to reactivate it? [17:57] you have to prove consistent contribution over 6 months and then show up at a core-dev meeting :P [17:58] (nah, indeed not ... :) ) [17:58] iirc you need to ping the DMB to get it enabled again [17:58] (and stop having holidays while LP teams expire on you) [17:59] ogra_: the latter sounds like a great idea :P [17:59] stgraber: Can you fix it for him? [18:06] sure [18:07] tseliot: renewed [18:07] stgraber: thanks a lot [18:07] infinity: thanks [18:08] * tseliot goes back to breaking Vivid... :P [18:16] system-image importer enabled again ... === __bjf is now known as bjf === popey_ is now known as popey
