sunjammer | hi - I've been trying for days to get my cloud-init scripts to work, and just realized that perhaps my problem is to do with merging. I have multi-part mime user-data where the first part is Content-Type: text/cloud-config and the first line of text is #cloud-init. The second part is Content-Type: text/x-include-url which contains three URLs. The three URLs are downloaded and executed correctly, but the first #cloud-init mime part | 22:36 |

sunjammer | Looking in /var/lib/cloud/instance/cloud-config.txt it shows it was built 'from 2 files' and states the name of both the first multi-part mime part, and the name of one of the included parts (which was of type cloud-config) which looks good. However both cloud-config parts define write_files: but only the included write_files can be seen in the resulting cloud-config.txt file. | 22:37 |
sunjammer | I've tried to use merge_how but honestly don't know what I'm doing, so far I keep getting the same result... | 22:37 |
sunjammer | Any help greatly appreciated | 22:38 |
