[18:11] <sveinse> After upgrading our OMAP product to 14.04, I have problems logging in via the serial console port. I enter the username, but as soon as I write the first key of the password, it sais "login incorrect". Anything familiar?
[18:13] <sveinse> The kernel is exactly the same between 14.04 and 12.04. I notice that plymouthd is running and apparently using /dev/ttyO1. Need to stop it I think.
[18:23] <sveinse> What /is/ plymouth doing? I.e. does it do anything else than user feedback?
