[00:53] hi all [03:56] hi all :) [03:56] i have a question for translation [03:58] how do we check to find different point between Original(English page) and Translation page(Other country)? [04:02] ah. it is small problem. :) that is ok. I can check it for a day or month. [04:42] hello all [07:21] ahoneybun, hi [07:21] Noskcaj, http://http.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libi/libinput/libinput_0.9.0+dfsg-1.dsc [07:22] better use that instead [07:22] yep [07:22] How do i copy from debian to ppa with no changes? I'm sure there was a way [07:23] syncpackage can do it I think, but then it will get the exact same version and better to have ~vivid tag [07:26] and not sure that syncpackage can do that?' === l3on_ is now known as l3on [15:04] um... How can i attach image from other Page in wiki [15:04] ? [15:05] for example, I want to attachment image from UbuntuGNOME/Testing page to UbuntuGNOME/Testing/Korean [15:06] ah.... [15:07] I saw it is how to using :) in other language in wiki page [15:07] thanks :) [15:25] have a good night [15:25] see again :) [15:36] Hi all [15:37] I have just installed ubuntu gnome 14.10, it seems to work great and I like the new improvements [15:37] but when I went to copy my files over using an external USB 3 drive it wasn't recognised... [15:38] And after about 15 seconds the screen went black and I couldn't do anything [15:39] All I could do was a hard reset [15:39] I've tried a few times and the same thing always happens. [15:40] user_: do you use a laptop and does this external hard drive have a power supply? [15:40] The same drive works fine on my other computer and also on this one with ubuntu gnome 14.04 installed, so it must be a problem with the 14.10 [15:41] Yes, a laptop [15:41] the drive doesn't have it's own supply. [15:41] it's a samsung SSD [15:42] Then it shouldn't use too much power. Sometimes external hard drives need more current that some computers can supply through USB port. [15:43] Yes, it's not that, like I say it used to work fine on this computer when ubuntu gnome 14.04 was installed... [15:49] So could anyone help with this? [15:49] how do I report a bug? [15:50] Does this happen if you boot Ubuntu from live cd/usb and plug in that hard drive? [15:51] I can't test that because my laptop has no CD driev and only one USB port... [17:16] Noskcaj, hi, please *testbuild* your uploads and don't leave them failed in the ppa :\ [17:32] user_: still on? [17:36] Noskcaj, in case of gtksourceview3 it is a libxml2 packaging bug [17:53] yes i am here! [17:55] Could anyone give me some advice on how to resolve this problem or report the bug? [17:55] It's a bit worrying that it worked on an older version of the OS [17:57] user_: I'm running 14.10, was that a problem with a 3.0 usb drive? [18:12] yes, it's a Samsung 840 mini SSD in a USB 3 case I bought on amazon. Like I say it works with 14.04 and on my other laptop that runs windows 7 [18:13] I have to go out now but if you have any suggestions please do write them here and I'll check later. Thanks! [19:16] ricotz, I did, I hadn't learned that gnome3-team build against -proposed till after the copies [19:17] They should all work with a retry [20:47] Noskcaj, yeah, i see, sorry
