[13:20] seal: try and find out? [13:20] seal: it looks like it does. [13:21] I keep getting error [13:34] seal: quickstart doesn't work afaik, but the juju-digitalocean plugin does [13:35] thanks, I already use juju-digitalocean which is great [13:35] seal: quickstart doesn't support manual provider afaik. [13:35] how would you deploy a bundle using juju-digitalocean? [13:39] seal: that's a good question [13:39] seal: you could use the Juju GUI [13:40] since that supports placement [13:40] but you'd need to first juju docean add-machine [13:40] Since digital ocean plugin runs only client side juju can't create the units for you from the API [13:43] I can confirm that deploy works via gui. I was hoping to automate this via script. Thanks for your response anyway. === hazmat is now known as hazaway === hazinhell is now known as hazmat [13:47] seal: quick answer.. you have to juju docean add-machine -n size_of_bundle [13:47] before deploying [13:48] thanks [14:24] hazmat: juju-quickstart: error: cannot use the docean environment: [14:24] a value is required for the bootstrap host field [14:24] this the error I am getting as the environment is set as bootstrap-host: null === kadams54 is now known as kadams54-away === kadams54-away is now known as kadams54 [15:21] hi guys [15:21] having a problem with juju-quickstart [15:22] anyone can help me? [15:22] swifty: on call but I'll try [15:22] thanks, frankban [15:22] well, we deployed a well working openstack on a server [15:22] it has all components running and working - glance, nova, neutron, swift, etc. [15:23] I'm trying to work on this openstack via juju on my laptop [15:23] we are both connected on the same lane (10.0.0.0/24) [15:23] I ran juju quickstart [15:23] set all the parameters [15:23] and get this error: [15:24] http://paste.ubuntu.com/10074672/ [15:24] need paste of environments.yawl? [15:24] I'll look asap [15:28] is there a limit to how much data you can deploy as part of a charm? [15:32] cmagina: practical limits like disk on juju state server. if you are deploying local charms, there was a bug in some older verions of juju which caused state server to load entire charm into memory, which would lower that practical limit a lot. [15:33] jrwren: hmmm....1.20.14-trusty-amd64 should be new enough [15:33] jrwren: the charm has 240M of data between two tarballs [15:35] so nothing crazy, just wasn't sure if that was a place to look [15:38] cmagina: nope, that is fine. we use charms of a very similar size all the time with no problems. [15:38] jrwren: ok, cool, thanks, i'll keep looking for the problem [16:11] seal quickstart doesn't play nice it sounds like, its also reading the environments.yaml instead of jenv it sounds like. === roadmr is now known as roadmr_afk === roadmr_afk is now known as roadmr === kadams54 is now known as kadams54-away === kadams54-away is now known as kadams54 === zz_CyberJacob is now known as CyberJacob === kadams54 is now known as kadams54-away === kadams54-away is now known as kadams54 === CyberJacob is now known as zz_CyberJacob [20:11] hi guys... i'm trying to access this url, but it is telling me that there is an error on openid authentication: http://pad.ubuntu.com/uos-1406-simpler-charms-with-ansible [20:12] can anyone of you test if you can access with your ubuntu openid info? === kadams54 is now known as kadams54-away [20:14] nicopace: worked for me; I saw the redirect page for .2 seconds, then clicked the button to share my ubuntu-etherpad membership [20:15] sarnold: :( my auth page appears, but nothing is there to authorize!
