nulti_korisnikMinor issues really, i can patch it if it is troublesome.11:58
leszeknulti_korisnik: I guess you can use the lubuntu mailinglist but launchpad would be better I guess11:58
nulti_korisnikleszek: i know however it is a pain in the but to register there, allow refferes in browser etc.11:59

luc___:/17:35
holsteinits slow/old hardware.. was when i purchased.. 900 MHZ celeron17:35

=== Mr_Comet is now known as Cometz|Reddit
luc___something like fluxbuntu ?17:38
holsteinlubuntu is top o the list for old machines..17:38
luc___ok17:39
holsteinluc___: fluxbox is not going to make your machine "faster"17:39
holsteinluc___: the hardware is what it is.. its old/slow.. was when we bought it.. period17:39
luc___so I will try lubuntu. Actualy I'm on debian with a faster computer17:39
holsteinyou can try lubuntu, and most other linux distros free.. free of cost.. and they are free/open for you to change to fit your needs17:39
holsteindebian with lxde might be more what you are looking for17:39
holsteinif you are more comfortable with debian.. i say, use it17:40
luc___I had kubuntu several years ago17:40
holsteinif you want, what would basically be the same, if you were to spend time setting up debian with lxde, but, you want to save that time, you can use lubuntu17:40
holsteinthey are *all* ubuntu..17:40
luc___yes17:41
holsteinkubuntu is ubuntu with kde.. kde is (arguably) not a good choice, out of the box, on older hardware17:41
holsteinthough, there are light qt options.. such as lxqt17:41
luc___yes I switched to debian17:41
luc___so17:41
luc___thanks a lot17:41
holsteindebian is just the base.. the kde desktop is available in debian17:41
luc___you've helped me a lot !17:41
holsteinsure.. cheers..17:42

findmehow do i change screen saver settings22:02
drkokandyfindme: screen saver is managed either by Light Locker and/or by Xfce Power Manager. You can change their settings in Preferences > Light Locker Settings and/or Preferences > Power Manager (respectively)22:23
findmedrkokandy, thankyou22:24
NaynayHello, lubuntu 14.10 here. Screen blanking. I've gone to Light Locker, gone to xfce power manager, gone to the display tab, set all sliders to "Never". My screen ends up blanking after about 10 minutes if I don't touch keyboard/mouse. Comes back to life after moving the mouse.23:16
NaynayI really do not want the screen to blank.23:16

drkokandyTurn off Light Locker23:36
Unit193He's long gone.  You can also check the config in /etc/systemd/logind.conf, but really black screen issues are just a load of fun..23:36
drkokandyOh. Didn't notice that23:37
