ScottKWhen I test build partitionmanager locally, the plugins go in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ (which is I believe correct), but on the buildds they get put in /usr/lib/kde4, which I know is wrong.03:38
ScottKSuggestions on why that might be appreicated.03:38
ScottKThat or p.u.c is just wrong.03:48

sitterRiddell: everything?10:20
Riddellsitter: all of kde software :)10:20
sitteryeah, well, that's not a very concrete objective :P10:20
sitterat any rate, ubiquity qt5 is like changing imports10:20
sitterI don't think it even uses kde classes anywhere10:21
Riddellplasma people say they're going to depend on systemd from the end of the year10:21
sitterso it'd be mostly an excersise in sedding and possibly getting rid of old crap code that was necessary because qt4 had insufficiencies (e.g. qicon::fromtheme never was used I think)10:21
Riddellseems like a nice exercise to me10:22

BluesKajsoee, you mentioned yesterday we should receive some improvements with plasma 5.2.x on thurs, correct? Any idea what they might be?12:13
soeeBluesKaj: basicaly a lot of bugfixes, there are already also some parts (if not all) of QT 5.4 in so it profides also some fixes12:18
soeei think with QT 5.4 system works a bit smoother, and my window lag is gone (not sure if it is because of QT 5.4)12:19
BluesKajno switching lag here , just loading seems to be slower than normal12:21
soeeyup, booting time is slower than in 14.1012:24
BluesKajdo you have systemd as default, soee?12:28

RiddellQuintasan: because there's already kdesnake ?15:15

Riddellpeople too scared of causing offence like with print-manager maybe15:18
QuintasanRiddell: http://im9.eu/picture/ds382015:19
QuintasanThat's ksnakeduel (the binary is named ktron15:19
Quintasanif you run that with --snake switch it goes to single player mode15:19
Riddelland there's no UI to do that?15:20
sitterI think I need to merge dragon port into master15:20
QuintasanThere is an ui15:20
sitterlukas totally inherited maintainership but didn't do it I think :P15:20
QuintasanRiddell: Typ gry is "Game mode" roughly translated15:20
QuintasanAnd there is "KSnake mode" in the dropdown15:20
Riddellright, so no need for two binaries15:21
QuintasanThere are no two binaries. Only two desktop files15:21

Riddellbut really there's no need for both binaries or both desktop files15:23
Riddellit's an in-app setting15:23
QuintasanOkay. I'll just rename ktron to ksnakeduel and get rid of kdesnake binary and desktop file15:24
QuintasanThis got really confusing all of sudden15:24
Riddellfor such a simple program, it does mess with your mind15:24
sitterwhy are we meddling with this anyway? 15:26
QuintasanCopyright issues15:26
sittersurely that should be addressed upstream?15:26
Riddellwe are addressing it upstream15:27
sitterok15:27
sitterI'll shut up then :P15:27
Riddellit's a trademark issue but that's mostly gone, it's more a tidying up the packaging issue which needs fixed upstream15:27
QuintasanOkay, so how the hell do I build this now15:29
QuintasanQt went apeshit on my system15:30
Quintasanwhat15:31
QuintasanI just changed the goddamn path15:52

QuintasanRiddell: Can you please add http://paste.ubuntu.com/10275569/ to your reviewboard suggestion (https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/121589/) ?16:28
QuintasanI don't know how does review board handle removals16:29
QuintasanBut we need to get rid of kdesnake.desktop16:29
QuintasanA total rename is impossible for me at this point since I can't figure out why it doesn't look for themes in the new path after I rename literally everything16:29
