[21:41] there is some python magic which automatically generates a debian/ directory for packaging a python thing [21:41] i don't recall what it is though, and it's kind of sketchy really [21:43] possibly python-stdeb, but I think that's for things which are already well-packaged in purely Python terms, which applications often aren't
