[04:22] Hi all. [04:23] newbooter anyway I can help? [04:52] Hey ianorlin. I want to create a restorable backup for my recent install. From reading online it seems clonezilla is the way to go. So now I am reading through clonezilla command line options, but I can't really figure them out. Is there a combination of clonezilla parameters to clone a local partition to unallocated free space on the same disk? [04:53] Reading through this one: http://allthatnetwork.blogspot.nl/2012/10/clonezilla-ocs-sr-options.html [04:54] There I see this param "-r, --resize-partition Resize the partition when restoration finishes, this will try to fix the problem when small partition image is restored to larger partition. Warning!!! Use this carefully... Backup your data first" [04:54] And this one: "-k1, Create partition table in the target disk proportionally. " [04:58] I am assuming clonezilla is the best solution for this? Or could you suggest an alternative? [17:27] pcmanfm 1.2.3 seems to be sorting the other way in lubuntu desktop but ok on razor desktop. any ideas? [17:31] like on details view, if you have name V, should be a -> z but it's the other way around [17:32] with modified ^, shud have latest on top [17:34] I don't where in lubuntu it's looking up for sorting but it's totally wrong [17:35] *lmow [17:35] *know [17:38] very strange that an apps would behave differently from one desktop to another [17:41] especially sorting which has nothing to do with DE [22:34] this is probbably the wierdest thing ever. pcmanfm 1.2.3 is not sorting properly as it should in lubuntu de but working ok on lxde, openbox and razor de [22:35] sakang, which version of lubuntu and which form of sort? [22:37] this is lubuntu 15.04. in details view, if you click 'name v', it should be a -> z, or 'modified ^' latest should be on top, vice versa [22:45] sakang does pressing f5 anmd refreshing ti do anything? [22:47] but I don't have to do that in lxde, openbox nor razor [22:49] don't tell me everytime you click any of those column caption box it checks what de is in effect? [22:51] no it doesn't I can't really reproduce [22:52] I get the intended behavior [22:56] really? I have lxde-core, lubuntu-core, openbox, and razor-desktop in this install. [23:00] I don't have lubuntu-desktop, but lubuntu-default-settings came with lubuntu-core though
