[19:36] <furkan> mlankhorst: i'm terribly sorry if this is a noob question, but i added the x-staging ppa using add-apt-repository, and also by manually editing sources.list, but it never shows up when i do apt-get update and it can't locate xorg-server-lts-vivid even though you've already put it up
[19:36] <furkan> i also added "deb http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-proposed main restricted multiverse universe" to my sources.list since it's listed as a dependency for the x staging ppa

[20:15] <furkan> i checked to make sure the amd64 packages were built, but it looks like they are so that's not the issue

[20:17] <furkan> i removed it and added it back, for like the 3rd time, and now i can see the packages *facepalm*
