alkisgHi, when I boot an office PC the USB mouse doesn't work. It does show up in lsusb and it *does work* if I unplug and re-plug it, so I'm thinking it might be a xorg issue. Any troubleshooting tips? Ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit, i5 system, microsoft mouse. The mouse works fine in windows as well.06:20
tjaaltoninput issues are kernel bugs06:23
tjaaltontry evtest, if you don't see events then that's a kernel bug for sure06:23
tjaaltonor bios06:23
alkisgxev didn't produce events06:23
tjaaltonor hw06:23
alkisgI'll try evtest, thanks06:24
alkisgYup, evtest doesn't list the mouse as an input device even though lsusb does show it. After unplug/re-plug it works. I'll check with #ubuntu-kernel08:34
