hanlon2I'm installing ubuntu-server in a Xen PV DomU.  Need to use grub1.  after 'update-grub' , the generated entries have "kernel  /vmlinuz-3.16.0-31-generic ...", instead of what it should be "kernel   /boot/vmlinuz-3.16.0-31-generic".  Where in the grub config do I specify that "/boot/" should be used in the generated kernel line?06:32

coreycbjamespage, ok thanks.  oh?12:16
jamespagecoreycb, I had to trim them right back - they where racey as heck and some of them needed out of archive deps12:16
jamespagecoreycb, switching to systemd flushed quite a few of those out - if fails faster12:16
coreycbjamespage, yuck. I think I saw you resubmitted a patch upstream?12:17
jamespagecoreycb, erm maybe - which project?12:17

hallynjamespage: hey, so before i dig much deeper or email the pkg-java-maintainer, is the cause of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomcat7/+bug/1432715 obvious to you at first glance?14:32
jamespagehallyn, I see an error but can't see the detail, so no14:34

dmsimardHi guys - I can't find anything on http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/ or Launchpad relative to the 14 CVEs addressed by today's OpenSSL patches. Is there an effort in progress that I can track somewhere ?15:30
rbasakdmsimard: ask in #ubuntu-hardened15:31
dmsimardrbasak: Thanks, checking.15:31

coreycbjamespage, nova is read for review again.  I set the test concurrency back to the default.   https://code.launchpad.net/~corey.bryant/nova/2014.1.4/+merge/25324216:15
jamespagecoreycb, the description on that patch does not appear to match the value 1 != 4 ?16:29
gchristensenHi, is there an expected timeline for the openssl patches to be available?16:30
tewardgchristensen: when they're done and the USN is made?16:30

elringo70hello... i'm having an usual problem with my server, every day after rebooting, dhcp server stops by no reason... anyone knows why?17:11
pmatuliselringo70: check the logs17:17
RoyKelringo70: is it set to start at bootup?17:18
elringo70i dont remember, but it starts after booting...17:19
elringo70and gives ip's to all clients... but after a couple of minutes it stops17:20
elringo70actually i'm using webmin17:20
RoyK!webmin17:21
ubottuwebmin is no longer supported in Debian and Ubuntu. It is not compatible with the way that Ubuntu packages handle configuration files, and is likely to cause unexpected issues with your system.17:21
elringo70mmm, probably thats the problem...17:21
elringo70it works for a long time but after an update on the server I start with this issue17:22
RoyKanyway - check the logs17:22
