[23:18] <furkan> i manually type "sleep 1; xset dpms force off" into the terminal, and nothing happens
[23:19] <furkan> the screen simply doesn't turn off... at the lock screen, it fades to black, but backlight stays on and mouse pointer is visible
[23:19] <furkan> this is on 15.04... earlier this was only happening after suspend/resume, now it happens all the time
[23:56] <furkan> looks like a kernel issue... i booted up in 4.0 rc7 and it works fine
[23:58] <furkan> spoke too soon.. still doesn't work after suspend/resume
