When I look at vanilla kernel 3.19.3 for the settings of the SERIAL_8250_OMAP, I notice it's dependent on TTY + HAS_IOMEM + SERIAL_8250 + ARCH_OMAP2PLUS. Does it have any dependencies for read/write ability ?

[22:41] <genii> mijk: If you don't mind a tablet instead, most of them that are based on the Texas Instruments Blaze Tablet platform can run linux and have native drivers for the powervr gpu onboard. Need to get an external keyboard then though.
