[19:23] <timbo_> I am enthralled with MAAS and got a question or two with regards to Dell computers and Boot from Lan
[19:25] <timbo_> I have my controller up and running and all it good..  I am having a tough time getting my nodes to commission..
[19:44] <timbo_> I have a handful of optiplex 750's and it took a little work, but I got my first node to boot from lan successfully.
[19:48] <timbo_> I delete the node from and allow it to be discovered.  When it is ready, I click commission and the node starts up.
[19:50] <timbo_> I am watching the console on the node and it all looks good...  SUCCESS then a login prompt.
[19:51] <timbo_> I try a root login (right or wrong?) and then it gives me some more output and shuts down the node.
[19:52] <timbo_> and the node is back at READY...  Like nothing happened.
[20:06] <timbo_> trying again.. shows up as declared but unknown power type.  I edit the WOL setting and add the MAC.  click commission and the node starts!
[20:11] <timbo_> I am looking through the logs and config files on the controller...  Not finding anything interesting...
[20:13] <timbo_> Anybody been here before and know where to investigate....  I don't need hand holding..  Just a pointer will do.

[22:45] <Crossfire0mega> So I just setup my first MAAS server and I am having some issues with getting my nodes up and running.
[22:47] <Crossfire0mega> I have two nodes setup and conneced to the network and PXE boot working, they contact the MAAS server and pull the files correctly and go from commission state to ready state but when I select start nodes I get a mesage saying that their state doesnt allow that action.
[22:48] <Crossfire0mega> I have edited both nodes power types and set them to WOL with their mac addresses but still to no avail.
