* Jacques_Stry waves - morning06:18
Kilosadvice on?06:18
mazalI am looking for a cleaner for junk and temp stuffs , for example chrome cache and temp folders etc. I know of disk janator , but I have read many times that one should stay away from that app. So googling suggested bleachbit. Anybody here that works with bleachbit ? Is it safe to use ?06:19
Kilosbleachbit06:19
mazalya06:20
Kilosi think thats what it is called06:20
mazalIs that app safe ?06:20
Kilosi think the pro uses it06:20
mazalDon't want to just run anything that might break something , never used it before , so rather I come ask06:20
Kilosread first what it offers to remove, you can choose06:21
mazalYeah I read up on it and installed it , I saw that one can select what it must do , so it "seems" safe06:21
mazalMostly I want to regularly clean out chrome junk06:23
Kiloshasnt it got a built in tool to do that06:23
Kiloslike clear cache 06:23
mazalAnd I see it has a "administrator mode" and normal mode. So if I run it normal mode it shouldn't break anything in the system theoretically06:24
Kilosya06:24
mazalAh cool , it has a preview mode that shows what it's going to do , nice :)06:25
Kilosmake a backup first then experimen06:25
Kilost06:25
mazalThis also seems nice:06:26
mazal" Vacuum: Clean database fragmentation to reduce space and improve speed without removing any data "06:26

octoquadTrello Snapshot is up: https://github.com/octoquad/trello-snapshot17:32
Kilosinetpro  ^^17:32
inetprooctoquad: very nice!18:05
inetproI like the approach18:05
Kilosdie outjie slim ne18:05
octoquadhey inetpro, thanks :)18:07
octoquaddid it work ok for you?18:07
inetprooctoquad: yes... just don't know how to see the difference between two different snapshots 18:31
inetproyet18:31
Kilosput your glasses on18:32
inetprooctoquad: is there not more to backup than just the one file?18:51
inetprooh hang on... I used the wrong URL to start with18:56
inetprooctoquad: looks like we need something like a json diff tool 19:14
octoquadinetpro, Trello serves the board as minified json file (1 line), so there will always be a difference if something has change on line 119:16
inetproexactly19:16
octoquadwhat should happen is we unminify it and then store it, which will generate a patch in git and is viewable as change19:16
inetproah19:16
octoquadIf there is no change to the file, git won't commit anything.19:18
inetproyep, I've tested that as well19:18
* inetpro likes it19:18
octoquadafter the first commit, the repo increases by 100k for each new commit which isn't to bad19:19
octoquadif we do patch support ~1-10kb depending on the size of changes generated in Trello and the last snapshot19:19
octoquadmight be a good feature to add for 0.219:19
inetprowhat about 'git diff --color-words' ?19:20
inetproshould that not work?19:20
inetprogit diff HEAD^ HEAD --color-words19:23
octoquadYeah that could work, but requires a bit of scrolling I suppose.19:28
inetproyep unminifying will be much better19:28
Kilosnight all, sleep tight19:29
KilosMaaz  watch them19:29
MaazOK Kilos I'll keep an eye on them for you19:29
inetprogood night oom Kilos19:30
octoquadNight Kilos19:32
octoquadinetpro, yeah unminify for the when, let me see what tool can do that quickly19:32
kulelu88minifying?19:32
octoquadwhen=win19:33
octoquadhey kulelu88 19:33
inetprohi kulelu8819:33
inetprokulelu88: see: https://github.com/octoquad/trello-snapshot19:33
kulelu88using --global is a bad idea, especially if github.com is not your only git tool19:34
octoquadI'm aware of that, but it's meant for someone who has never used git before.19:35
octoquadYou can set it in the repo directory itself if need be, however that is created after the first run19:36
octoquadfile a bug report if need be :)19:36
kulelu88it's not really a bug heh. your point hold stronger than mine :)19:41
octoquadfile a feature request if need be hehe19:42
inetpro#1 filed :-)19:47
kulelu88Use the bash script to format the .json output19:48
* inetpro calling it a day19:48
inetprogood night19:48
octoquadnight inetpro 19:51
octoquadkulelu88, yup, busy looking at jq to see if that can help19:52
kulelu88octoquad: you still here?22:46
