[06:05] good morning to all [10:44] Hiyas all [12:12] lotuspsychje: afternoon lotuspsychje [12:12] EriC^^: hello mate [12:12] BluesKaj: hi! [12:12] ok, i just woke up [12:12] did a little sandwich there :P [12:12] whats your time EriC^^ [12:12] 3pm [12:12] Hi lotuspsychje, EriC^^ [12:12] 14h12 here and you just woke up? [12:13] :p [12:13] hi BluesKaj [12:13] heavy night EriC^^ ? [12:13] yeah :P [12:13] 8:14 AM here [12:14] er 13 [12:14] hehe [12:14] nah nothing crazy [12:17] rainy here ...good day to take a rest [12:19] yeah rainy here too [12:20] you guys know if LTS is moved to top on ubuntu.com desktop download? [12:20] it used to be latest ontop no? [12:21] http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop [12:22] Recommended for most users. [12:22] i like that [12:22] lotuspsychje, ontop?? [12:22] BluesKaj: well didnt latest ubuntu show 'ontop' of the page, or default? [12:23] like if a user wanted to download ubuntu, he got 15.04 or whatever by default [12:24] used to be other way around right? [12:24] I always thought the latest OS was the default preference [12:24] yes thats what i mean [12:24] now LTS shows at first [12:24] and i think its a good idea [12:25] i was thinking so much 15.04 users lately, i wanted to see if it showed default still [12:25] yeah well, I was never very impressed with 14.04 on my pc, 14.10 was much more stable [12:26] really [12:26] but that could be KDE related [12:26] perhaps yes [12:26] ive installed over then 30 machines with trusty, never had any issue yet [12:28] never investigated I just moved on to 14,10 as soon a repos waqs available with some 14.10 packages [12:50] cfhowlett: howdy mate [12:50] lotuspsychje, hey hey! [12:55] EriC^^: wb [12:55] soon, we will have more supporters then ubuntu issues :p [13:21] lotuspsychje: lol [13:21] :p [13:22] :D [13:22] and fight over users who gets them first :p [13:22] and ubuntu gets more stable by the minute [13:23] doesnt make it easier for us poor volunteers :p [13:24] :P [13:43] then the problems become more difficult to solve when they arise [13:44] yeah thats true [13:44] more and more specific issues lately [13:44] what's this guy up to? [13:45] a124? [13:45] yeah [13:45] he's on 13.04 and wants to upgrade [13:45] not sure what he's trying to do [13:46] + wubi. let's not forget the wubi. [13:46] yeah [13:48] !wubi [13:48] Wubi was a way to install Ubuntu from within Windows, but it is no longer supported in recent versions of Ubuntu and was never well maintained even for Ubuntu 12.04. Do not use Wubi. See !install for other options for installing Ubuntu. [13:48] seems like they adjusted that text also [13:48] * cfhowlett thinks "Seems clear enough!" [13:55] ki7mt: hi mate!
