[14:20] hi all [16:28] If I want to customize the top bar do I have to look for Metacity themes? [16:29] gnome-shell themes [16:29] (assuming such things even exist, I don't know) [16:31] These guys http://gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=191 ? [16:31] I mean the top bar of each window. [16:31] That seems to be the top bar of the desktop. [16:58] top bar of each window? you mean the title bar? [16:58] mutter/gnome-shell draws this; I think based on the gtk+ theme nowadays [16:58] (I think earlier versions used metacity themes) [16:58] Yes, the title bar. [17:00] There is a theme called Numix that can be used to change the title bar. I downloaded the theme Greybird, but it cannot be used on the title bar like Numix. [17:00] I am using the tweak tool to change the themes. [17:01] Inside Numix folder I can see metacity, openbox, unity, xfce, and gtk stuff. [17:02] Greybird is the same. [17:02] #gnome might be a better place to ask (more people) [17:03] I was always happy with the default gnome 3 theme (adwaita) [17:03] is it on freenode too? [17:03] mgedmin, the default theme is nice, but I just like to change my desktop a lot. [17:05] there's #gnome on freenode [17:06] and there's #gnome on irc.gnome.org, which has even more people [17:06] (heh, by one) [17:07] Ok, thanks. [22:45] Rodrigo5244, metacity themes are gone in 3.16, window decorations are themed directly by gtk+ now
