bzoltanjibel: hello, the MRs in the silo11 are top approved and good for QA validation. The Test plan results are available on the link you see in the comment cell.04:46
* popey looks for a Mirv07:13
jibelbzoltan, morning. Ack. It's in the ready for testing queue, it should land some time today or Monday07:14
popeyjibel: did you see my mail from last night about clock?07:23
seb128hey there07:23
popeyjust updating my bq now07:24
seb128popey, so I was saying, after updating my bq/rc-proposed to 41 I lost the clock application07:24
seb128I only have 5 favorites on the dash07:24
seb128looks weird :p07:24
popeyi am just updating mine now07:24
popeyheh07:24
seb128$ click list | grep clock07:24
seb128$07:24
seb128did we stop shipping it with the image?07:25
popeyno but the click is a bit broken so I suspect that may be why07:25
popeysil2100 isn't around today, but I expected mirv to be07:25
seb128popey, we dropped it, http://people.canonical.com/~ogra/touch-image-stats/vivid/20150619.changes07:25
seb128=== Dropped Packages ===07:25
seb128click:com.ubuntu.clock07:25
popeyneed the +1 from someone to allow me to re-upload to fix it07:26
seb128what went wrong?07:26
popeythe click ended up with files from other core apps in it07:26
popeywhich bloated it07:26
seb128no Mirv...07:26
popeyI rebuilt it late last night without the unnecessary files07:26
seb128k07:26
oSoMoNtrainguards: can silo 16 be published, please?07:32
mvooSoMoN: sure07:32
oSoMoNthanks!07:32
* mvo is away for some minutes but will read trainguard backlog07:34
=== salem_ is now known as _salem
popeyoh, calendar says timo is on vacation.07:37
popeyso who do we have on landing duty today then as sil2100 is also out?07:37
seb128popey, from what just happened it seems mvo :p07:38
jibelpopey, mvo_ is on duty today07:47
popeymvo_: when you're back, I have a somewhat urgent request07:48
jibelpopey, about clock 3.3.280.1, do you confirm the icon must be the old version?08:02
ogra_    if echo $package | egrep -q "_$CLICKARCH.click|_all.click|_unknown.click"; then08:03
ogra_        echo "Setting up $package"08:03
ogra_popey, seb128 ^^^^08:03
ogra_(thats from livecd-rootfs08:03
ogra_)08:03
ogra_new clock is called *_multi.click08:03
popeyso it doesn't cope with multi-arch packages then08:04
popeythanks ogra_08:04
ogra_it doesnt cope with the package name08:04
popeyjibel: yeah, is it not?08:04
jibelpopey, yeah it is, just wanted to be sure.08:04
popeyok08:04
popeyta08:04
ogra_(i assume the sytem copes with multi as i guess you test-installed it :) )08:04
popeyi did :)08:04
ogra_the terminal must be gone for a while from the community images too08:05
popeybut people who had it installed will still have it08:05
popeyjust not new images08:05
ogra_not sure, it might be gone on OTAs08:06
ogra_http://people.canonical.com/~ogra/touch-image-stats/vivid/20150616.changes08:07
ogra_there08:07
ogra_reminders as well08:07
ogra_http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/click_packages/click_list08:07
popeyno, as seb128 said he had two updates, one for OTA, one for clock08:08
popeyso you get your OTA and you get your store updates (separately)08:08
ogra_oh, right, good then08:08
ogra_so now it gets a bit tricky ... to fix that we cant just update the livecd-tootfs branch (since that only lands in wily)08:09
popeyright08:10
popeyso might be easier to just go back to an armhf only clock/reminders until we can fix that livecd-rootfs on a non-friday?08:10
ogra_no, lets fix it proper ... its just more effort08:11
popeyok, added you to the mail and mvo too08:13
ogra_seb128, mvo_ (can someoine take a look before i upload this to the overlay ppa) http://paste.ubuntu.com/11739180/08:17
jibelpopey, should we verify the non-fat _multi click packages or wait for another version?08:17
mvo_popey: hi, I'm back08:18
mvo_popey: reading backlog now08:18
popeymvo_: also you have mail :)08:19
seb128ogra_, that looks fine to me08:19
popeyjibel: I think it would be good to fix it properly as ogra_ says, I just didn't want to cause extra busy work for people on a friday08:19
* ogra_ wonders when we actually had *_unknown.click 08:19
mvo_popey: yes08:20
popeyyeah, I have seen those.08:20
mvo_ogra_: that looks ok to me08:21
mvo_ogra_: so with that upload the problem is resolved, right? i.e. do I need to do anything with my trainguard hat on :) ?08:25
ogra_mvo_, nod when i ask if i can dput this to the overlay PPA :)08:26
ogra_mvo_, can i dput this to the overlay PPA ?08:26
popeyjibel: do I need to add a landing spreadsheet line for these clicks?08:29
jibelpopey, yes please08:30
jibelnice, if I set several alarms at the same time, the shell crashes08:30
mvo_ogra_: *nod*08:31
mvo_ogra_: also "<mvo_> ogra_: that looks ok to me" from two lines earlier :)08:31
=== mvo_ is now known as mvo
ogra_yeah :)08:35
* ogra_ dputs ... 08:35
ogra_i'll prepare a wily change too08:35
popeyadded lines to ci sheet for clock and reminders08:37
ogra_popey, why ?08:37
popeyjibel asked me to so we track it properly :)08:38
popeywe just had a 1:1 landing call ㋛08:38
ogra_havent they been verified before entering the store already ?08:38
jibelogra_, clock 3.3.280.1 and reminders 0.5.449.1 are not in the store afaik?08:38
ogra_the image as a whole needs re-verification but the packages themselves should already have seen QA08:38
jibelogra_, that's 2 different problems08:39
ogra_how can they not be in the store but be on http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/click_packages/click_list ?08:39
jibelogra_, previous version of the click packages contains files that shouldn't be there08:40
popeyogra_: you may be missing the .1 - its a rebuild08:40
ogra_ooooh08:40
jibelogra_, .108:40
ogra_ignore me :P08:40
jibelas popey said :)08:40
popey /ignore ogra_08:40
ogra_ARGH !08:50
ogra_ 2.300.2~vivid1 (Newer version available)08:50
ogra_damn08:50
ogra_now how do i need to version this so it doesnt consider 2.300.2 from the archive newer ...08:51
* ogra_ forgot we are in a PPA ... but i dont want to bump to .308:52
Laney+vivid1?08:53
ogra_Laney, thanks that helped :)09:12
ogra_popey, jibel, do you guys want a new image now or do you want to wait til your re-uploads are in the store ? should be all fixed now09:13
popeyogra_: I'd wait till they're in the store09:13
jibelogra_, wait until the re-upload09:13
ogra_you didnt drop the multi, right ?09:13
jibelogra_, no09:14
ogra_(else i'll build one now to make sure the code change worked)09:14
ogra_ok09:14
jibelpopey, clock is good09:31
jibelI'll check reminders now09:31
popeythanks jibel09:31
jibelpopey, the crash with multiple alarms only happens on arale09:32
popeyah09:32
ogra_that will run out of battery before the alarms go off anyway :)09:38
nik90jibel, popey: multiple alarm crash in clock app?09:43
nik90Is there a bug report for it?09:43
popeynot yet. not sure it's clock but i-d09:43
popeywhen alarms go off jibel said there's a shell crash and constant vibrate09:44
nik90popey: ah ok.. (tiny bit relieved)09:44
popey:)09:44
popeythats how I understand it anyway09:44
jibelpopey, reminders is good too09:50
jibelnik90, I'll report a bug, but I've to reflash my arale first to make sure it is not caused by some recent silos I tried on it09:53
nik90people are fast https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-clock-app/+bug/146678809:54
ubot5Launchpad bug 1466788 in Ubuntu Clock App "clock app missing, tap the clock icon in time&date indicator have no reaction" [Undecided,New]09:54
nik90popey: I take it the next image will have both clock and reminders?09:54
ogra_nope09:54
ogra_the next one will09:54
ogra_due to the renaming they were accidentially dropped (terminal too)09:55
nik90ogra_: isn't that what I also said? :P09:55
ogra_geez09:55
* ogra_ needs glasses ... i read s/next/last/09:55
nik90;)09:55
* popey uploads clock and reminders09:58
popeyok, uploads done. ogra_ shall we kick an image?10:09
nik90popey: hey dekko got a new icon with the new update :P10:15
popeydekko?10:15
popeywat wat10:15
nik90popey: yes v0.5.4 updated just now10:16
popeyso it did10:16
popeyyay10:16
ogra_popey, doing ...10:34
popeythanks10:35
ogra_popey, jibel, oh, btw, i guess you want to have a new OTA4 release for the community channel then ... (on monday with sil2100 back)10:56
ogra_since the one that was released will miss at least the terminal10:56
popeyPerhaps.10:58
popeyNot sure it's worth the effort?10:58
popeypeople can still install terminal, and if they already had it, they will get a store update which will keep it10:58
popeyit's only if people do what seb128 did, install the OTA and choose _not_ to install app updates, that this happens10:59
bzoltanjibel:  Nice, than you very much. I am on holiday, but I do watch after this landing. It is fairly important one with important fixes. Thanks for your support.11:02

jibelkenvandine, with silo 4 when I attach a contact in gmail, webapp container crashes. I'll try without silo 414:03
jibelkenvandine, well, it crashes even without14:10

kenvandinejibel, thx!16:14
om26ermzanetti, ^ I am almost done testing, just need to verify that one.16:16
mzanettiom26er, ? need something?16:18
om26ermzanetti, yes, need a way to verify bug 132414216:18
ubot5bug 1324142 in unity8 (Ubuntu) "Support providing fallback images" [High,In progress] https://launchpad.net/bugs/132414216:18
mzanettiom26er, right, I've asked the api guys already becaue I know you'd be schowing up with that question :)16:19
om26ermzanetti, proactive, much, eh ?16:19
mzanettiom26er, so atm there is no backend making use of it. However, pstolowski will update the mediascanner scope next week to make use of it16:19
mzanettiom26er, that needs to go through a silo too16:19
mzanettiom26er, you ok with making sure it works on that silo?16:20
mvo_bregma: meh, reconfigure fails, I think this needs a real trainguard, I try again16:20
mzanettiom26er, you could also test it with our unit tests, but that's not really the full stack thing as you'd like to16:20
om26ermzanetti, hmmm, ok. Well if nothing is using it then I guess it can go in.16:20
mzanettiom26er, first thing that starts making use of it, will pass by you again16:21
om26ermzanetti, sure, thanks for that.16:21
om26erI'll just go ahead and approve this one.16:21
om26erpopey, ping16:25
popeyom26er: yo16:25
om26erpopey, need the click for calendar, where to find it ?16:25

om26erpopey, I meant the one that is candidate for testing :)16:26

popeyom26er: use the one from the store. :)16:28
popey(because it's not in the image yet)16:28
om26erpopey, easy one.16:29
robrumvo_: when that happens it's because "reconfigure" is an unprivileged reconfigure. You (as a core dev) need to use the "assign" tool in order to perform a "reconfigure on steroids" to get past that error16:35
