[14:33] <codingman> I've installed libffi-dev from the repos, but it doesn't seem to help the matter

[14:33] <ogra_> that has the headers for building stuff ... not the runtime libs
[14:34] <ogra_> (though it should have pulled the runtilme into your system)
[14:39] <codingman> libffi6 should do it, correct?
[14:39] <ogra_> depends what your app was linked against i guess
[14:39] <codingman> I wasn't sure whether libffi5 and libffi6 were incompatible, in much the same way as python2 and python3 are
[14:40] <codingman> heh, libffi6 is apparently the latest version :/
[14:47] <codingman> any idea as to what I should install, then? libffi6 isn't working.
