[15:49] hey all. just configured mythbuntu [15:49] everything seemed tow ork up until the mythdatabasefill part [15:50] it was in an endless loop [15:50] i aborted it after awhile. and now i cant get to program guide [15:50] theres not even an option for it. just "watch tv" which goes to a channel [15:57] LordDragon: are you sure it was in an endless loop and not just doing a bunch of different channels for a bunch of different showstimes/days? [15:57] it kept saying something like "0 of 600 channels. refreshing" [15:57] where do i go to setup a remote control? [15:59] if using LIRC, most people setup a remote through the control center. [16:00] If you've got a remote that shows up as a keyboard (I do) then you just go to edit keys in the frontend [16:01] hmm. the problem with the control center is the text is HUGE making all the controls too big for their own good and i cant see the whole window [16:01] any way to fix that? [16:03] huge? that's odd [16:03] you have some strange resolution or font settings? [16:04] ok i fixed it somehow [16:06] i have apple mac mini setup [16:06] but hte bottons dont work [16:06] i guess i need to map stuff manually? [16:08] LordDragon: possibly, I'm not sure [16:12] not mythbuntu support bluetooth keyboard? [16:12] LordDragon: I don't believe bluetooth utilties are installed by default in mythbuntu [16:13] You'd have to install them [16:14] hmm android app doesnt work either [16:14] says "Io except: failed to connect" [16:31] got it working [16:31] but im having major playback issues [16:31] the audio keeps cutting in and out [16:48] ok i think i fixed it. somehow my guide is backwards though. from highest number to lowest number. not sure how to change it to normal [16:58] ok i had to press 0 [17:04] now the problem is all the numbers do functions [17:04] instead of letting my punch a channel number [17:04] not sure how to get it back to direct channel number entry
