lordievaderGood morning.08:52
coreycbjamespage, I proposed a wily mp for heat13:50
jamespagecoreycb, how do I see that?13:50
coreycbjamespage, if you go here and click on each branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server-dev/ubuntu/+source/heat/+git/heat13:52
coreycbjamespage, it's blocked on oslo.service13:52
jamespagecoreycb, right13:54
* jamespage tries to figure out the best way to merge with git13:54
jamespagecoreycb, got it - I added your repo as a remote and merged the branches13:58
coreycbjamespage, cool13:58
jamespagecoreycb, hmm - but not the tags13:59
coreycbjamespage, oh I didn't tag anything13:59
coreycbjamespage, but perhaps that's automatic on my end14:00
coreycbI see one for 5.0.0_b114:00
jamespagecoreycb, can you push your tags please14:00
coreycbjamespage, yep14:01
jamespagecoreycb, I need the upstream one14:01
coreycbjamespage, done14:01
jamespagecoreycb, that did the trick14:02
coreycbjamespage, awesome14:02
jamespagecoreycb, https://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server-dev/ubuntu/+source/heat/+git/heat landed your changes14:02
jamespageonce we get oslo.service in we'll release and upload14:02
jamespagecoreycb, broadley I did - git remote add coreycb-l1 git://git.launchpad.net/~corey.bryant/ubuntu/+source/heat/+git/liberty-114:05
jamespagecoreycb, git fetch coreycb-l114:06
jamespageand then merged each branch - that worked ok14:06
jamespagecoreycb, http://paste.ubuntu.com/11778768/14:07
coreycbjamespage, good to know, thanks14:07
jamespagecoreycb, will document this somewhere once we have a good flow figured out14:07
coreycbjamespage, ok I have some notes I can share if you need14:08
jamespagecoreycb, did you have to propose all three branches?14:16
coreycbjamespage, no but I had to push each one14:16
jamespagecoreycb, git push --all14:17
coreycbjamespage, there ya go!14:17
jamespagecoreycb, one of neutrons unit tests fails on the LP builders and I can't figure out why14:17
jamespageits a trivial test - nothing complicated14:17
jamespagecoreycb, heat is blocked on testtools?14:19
coreycbjamespage, hmm, want me to look?  I need to figure out what's going on with keystonemiddleware for utopic too14:19
coreycbjamespage, yeah I just dug into the deps a bit more, testtools and zaqarclient14:19
jamespagecoreycb, which versions of testtools does it want?14:20
jamespagehopefully not more that 1.4.014:20
omfgtorai was using this page to set a static IP, is the "broadcast" setting optional? - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/ubuntu/change-ubuntu-server-from-dhcp-to-a-static-ip-address/14:21
coreycbjamespage, 1.4.0 exactly14:21
jamespagecoreycb, that's ok then - we have that in proposed for wily14:22
* jamespage fixed that14:22
jamespagecoreycb, that fixes that assertRaisesRegex confusion btw14:22
jamespageas 1.4.0 bases of unittest2, not unittest14:22
jamespageso you get consistent py3 naming of stuff14:22
coreycbjamespage, good14:22
coreycbjamespage, looks like I need to bump zaqarclient in debian to 0.1.1 and get it synched14:26
jamespagecoreycb, awesome-o14:26
coreycbjamespage, nevermind my previous answer, yes I did have to propose all 3 branches.14:36
jamespagecoreycb, ack14:36
jamespagecoreycb, that's fiddly14:36
coreycbjamespage, yeah14:36
tewardrbasak: ping, if you're around.14:40
rbasakteward: pong14:41
tewardrbasak: WRT the nginx thing up to the release team, if they say "Go with 1.9.x" I'm wainting to 1.9.3.  OSCP stapling is broken in 1.9.2 due to a big.14:41

rbasakI was going to chase if no reply on Monday14:42
tewardnow if only i can get sbuild to accept ARM... >.>14:42
tewardrbasak: yeah that's fine, it was either going to be you or me poking14:42
teward(in other news, i'm regretting going to work today... "bring your pet to work day" disagrees with my allergies)14:43
tewardThis may sound weird, but we have a system where we can't set up nagios or landscape to monitor the systems... is there any program that can achieve monitoring of disk space and then shut off certain cron jobs on a different user after disk space has reached a certain level of consumption?14:51
tewardor does anyone know of any scripting techniques i can use to achieve this?14:51
coreycbjamespage, ceilometer and barbican mps are ready for wily.  ceilometer needs some dependencies bumped.14:57

qman__I installed backuppc via apt on ubuntu server 14.04, it installed apache as a requirement. When I try to browse to it, it just downloads the CGI file instead of executing it. I checked and mod_cgid is already enabled.15:14
qman__I'm using the package's default configs, no modifications15:14
jamespagecoreycb, ok15:19
jamespagecoreycb, looking now15:19
qman__ugh, stupid chrome bug15:34
qman__switched browsers and it worked15:34
Midoshi27Hey everyone, for some reason my iptables is being flushed periodically on my Ubuntu Server. I'm running iptables-save after my setup script... why might this be happening??15:59

HankKi'm trying to apply an ssl certificate to an apache2 web server. The only part that is left is to edit some .conf  files. I can save the changes, but they revert back to the originals a few minutes later. Any ideas why it's doing that and how to save permanently?19:16
