[17:00] once again I've "upgraded" Ubuntu and don't know if the new behavior I'm seeing is a bug or a feature [17:00] the left-hand launcher is mostly gone, to be replaced by an "activities" button that brings up something launcher-like [17:00] is this normal? [17:01] wait a second [17:01] :o [17:02] dzho: did you and i just have a convo on another network? [17:02] totes, bro [17:03] yano [17:06] whoa, neat [17:07] the Internet, how does it work [17:07] :-) [17:07] ikr? heh [17:08] anyway, alt-tab still does some stuff, just...very differently than it had done, which is very disappointing to find in an LTS [17:08] for instance, repeated applications of Alt-tab do not walk me through my windows any more. I get one run through, and that's it, and it doesn't descend into my multiple browser windows for instance. [17:14] oh, haha, I'll bet I know what happened. [17:15] I bet during the upgrade and reboots, the login manager forgot my desktop preference and shoved me into GNOME [17:15] damnit [17:16] ahahahahaha, that was it [17:16] shows you how often I use GNOME
