balloonHello. Is there the person seeing it now?02:45
holsteinballoon: seeing what?03:39
balloonThank for a reply.03:41
balloonhttps://bugs.launchpad.net/lubuntu-next/+bug/143787503:41
ubottuUbuntu bug 1437875 in Lubuntu next "Asian font is lost by live boot and installing of Lubuntu 15.04 and 15.10" [Undecided,Confirmed]03:41
holsteinlost by live boot?03:41
holsteinlive boots are not persistent.. and 15.10 is not released yet..03:41
holsteinso, what is going on? something specific with an asian language font?03:42
balloonThis is a considerably serious problem.03:42
holsteinballoon: again, *what* is?03:43
holsteinim not debating any seriousness.., i assure you03:43
balloonAsian users boot a live commonly now, and a letter is not readable.03:43
balloonSo I want a developer to improve this problem immediately.03:44
holsteinlol03:44
holsteinballoon: i would look for someone dealing with that language specifically..03:44
balloonIn this situation the Asian user moves from Lubuntu to other flavor.03:45
holsteinballoon: you cant move to other flavors, with the live iso03:46
holsteinso, im unclear on what that means.. but, the live iso's are not meant to faciliate that03:46
balloonRepeated. This problem is serious.03:47
holsteinballoon: sure, i get that you find it serious, and im still  not debating, or, implying, or saying its not03:47
holsteinballoon: what im saying is, the live iso's are not intended for changing flavors.. so, is that what is happening?03:48
balloonAsian users is not good at comparative English.03:49
holsteinwe should have a team, that speaks that language, natively03:50
holsteinanyways, if a fix is commited, as per https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1437961 that will "trickle in"03:50
ubottuUbuntu bug 1437961 in ubuntu-mate " Korean fonts displayed as boxes in ubiquity " [Medium,Fix released]03:50
balloonWhen this is a different problem, I understand.03:51
holsteinis it?03:51
balloonThis is a problem peculiar to Korean and does not occur in Japanese even if there is few it.03:52
balloonIt is a problem that an Asian font is completely deleted in Lubuntu.03:53
balloonOneself considers that the factor will be capacity restrictions of 700MB.03:54
holsteinmay not be included on the live iso, but, should be easily installable03:54
balloonThere should have been a package given priority which you should delete than it.03:56
holsteinwell, *i* dont delete them, friend.. and its an open community, if you find that something is missing, and would like for it to be added03:57
balloonFor example, input method iBus should be unnecessary for the ISO before an Asian font.03:57
balloonIf an English sentence is funny, I am sorry.03:58
balloonIf an English sentence is funny, I am sorry.03:59
balloonI generate this sentence in Web translation.03:59
balloonI want you to understand acuteness to have to do it to here, and to tell bug report to a developer.04:00
holsteinyou can use any iso, and convert to lubuntu later04:02
holstein!mini04:02
ubottuThe Minimal CD image is very small in size, and it downloads most packages from the Internet during installation, allowing you to select only those you want.  The installer is text based (rather than graphical as used on the Desktop DVD). See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD04:02
holstein^ for example... the mini iso, and add whatever language support you specifically need04:02
holsteinim not sure what languages are going to be included on the lubuntu default iso, but, one can easily add whatever one needs04:03
balloonI am a person with a skill so as to use the 15.10 development version.04:03
holstein15.10 is not released yet04:04
holstein!15.1004:04
ubottuUbuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) will be the 23rd release of Ubuntu. Discussion in #ubuntu+104:04
balloonThis problem is the thing that is important to a beginner using Linux and Ubuntu.04:04
holsteinlinux and lubuntu, correct?04:05
holsteinit is specific to *only* lubuntu, correct?04:05
holsteinmain ubuntu supports your language? and there is support for your language in the default repos to add to lubuntu, correct? its only from the lubuntu live iso, that you are not getting the support you seek, correct?04:05
balloonI will not accept the suggestion except requiring the improvement of this problem now.04:06
balloonI catch a developer from another place.04:06
holsteinballoon: this is only  a lubuntu problem, correct? main ubuntu supports your language live, correct?04:06
holsteinballoon: if its a lubuntu problem, then, this is the place04:06
balloonThank you for correspondence.04:06

cinaedI first landed in Ubuntu's forum. Sorry for my confusion but one question - do i need to go there first or does lubuntu have a direct link?13:04
cinaedThe issue I'm having with Lubuntu, applications I've installed can't be uninstalled. The reason is, it still shows that it is installed in Lubuntu software center.13:07
