nuschhello, my system stopped work after kernel upgrade, I thought i was always using UEFI secure boot but see old working kernel is named vmlinuz-3.13.0-55-generic and new has two variants vmlinuz-3.13.0-57-generic.efi.signed and vmlinuz-3.13.0-57-generic. New kernel gives panic at early boot related to no root partition. I'm using FDE, that requires module in initrd but update-initramfs doesn't help06:14
nuschalso my /etc/initramfs-tools/scripts/init-premount is empty, I have old backups where it's not but know those scripts are also in /usr/share/initramfs-tools location. What is proper setup allowing update-initramfs include all crypto and lvm modules?06:17
wyvernHi folks, I'm on ubuntu 15.04 and I need to use a newer kernel to avoid some usb3 bugs in 3.19. Ideally I'd use 4.1. How should I update my kernel?21:03
