[15:29] seeing some weirdness out of quickstart, has anyone else seen this? https://gist.github.com/chuckbutler/4243f9fac13114e12c06 [15:49] Hello all, anyone have experience with juju-gui, openstack bundle, and ceph? my drives from the config don’t seem to be getting picked up. Just trying to chase the problem down to see if it’s user error [16:20] lazyPower: looking [16:20] firl: no, my understanding is that there's some config for some openstack components that have to happen once at install time or else it doesn't work as you can't change them [16:20] firl: so we don't install openstack from the GUI for a working cloud atm [16:20] Just through landscape? [16:21] ( I did change the config values before committing them ) [16:21] firl: oh, that's interesting. Yea, the new uncomitted bundle support is new and we should try that now that you mention it [16:21] :) [16:21] Yeah I’ve been a proponent of it haha [16:21] I can open a ticket if you think that it is improper [16:22] i’ve tried 3 deploys now just to make sure I wasn’t crazy [16:22] lazyPower: that looks like somehow there was a timeout or connection issue with the juju client asking juju to add_unit [16:22] firl: oh no, you're not crazy, just in untested land since it wasn't ever possible before uncomitted bundles [16:22] very true [16:23] rick_h_: seems to be new as of this week. This particular build was working last week :| [16:23] rick_h_: So is my best bet to get a non landscaped version of openstack running just making all the commands a script and config file and just use the CLI? [16:23] i'll change the substrate and see if it changes bheavior [16:23] lazyPower: so it's not a one off? [16:24] its been consistent. to note: this is with the GCE provider [16:24] firl: well there's the ubuntu installer? [16:24] i'll swap over to say aws and see. [16:24] lazyPower: hmm, ok yes please let me know if there's an issue. [16:25] rick_h: and just use the mutli node version? I was trying to specify where all the services went ( hence the bundler )
