syntroPiHey guys, im using ubuntu-gnome and find myself more often every day cursing gnome interface: im curious how feature complete is the kde 5 DE yet?16:41
=== Malsasa_ is now known as Malsasa
Guest33601In response to SyntroPI I would like to say that KDE 5 is very good17:29
Guest33601it has a few bugs17:29
Guest33601I have a small sound problem17:29
Guest33601but other than that it is very modern looking17:29
Guest33601it does need a faster computer to do the visual effects without lagging though17:29
Guest33601but also.  does anyone have any suggestions for my sound problem17:30
Guest33601with no sound out of the headphone jack17:30
syntroPiGuest33601, you might want to fiddle around with alsamixer on command line maybe17:32
syntroPiGuest33601, since KDE5 is new, how you feel about its feature completeness? Are there any missing functionalities left to desire for?17:32
Guest33601Im a new linux user myself but I haven't found anything huge missing17:33
Guest33601aside from some bugs17:33
Guest33601I have used alsamixer and all of its settings are correct17:33
Guest33601I have to reboot my system I am going to login on another computer17:34
syntroPii had a automute setting in alsamixer which preventet my soundcard from outputting on the rear pannels when enabled in alsamixer17:35
syntroPi*prevented17:35
Guest33601I looked at alsamixer and it appears when I connect my headphones it unmutes the headphone mixer and mutes the speaker17:35
Guest33601_I changed to my main compuI had to reboot my linux omputer17:37
Guest33601_I am on another system for now17:37
Guest33601_Whenever I change the playback device in phonon it dosen't save my changes either17:41
