[09:42] (I might not get to it this morning/today anyway) [09:44] Yep, it should be finished. [09:49] OK, cool, I'll see if I can give it another look today. === rangerpbzzzz is now known as rangerpb === zz_natorious is now known as natorious [17:11] hi guys. I think my cloud-init on an AMI is not working. What should I look for in the system log(s) to indicate cloud-init worked, or at least executed? [18:24] gamename: You should be able to look at /var/log/cloud-init.log, or search for 'cloud-init' in the syslog. [18:25] in almost all cases, cloud-init writes WARN to that log if something is wrong. [18:51] smoser: Thanks [18:51] Odd_Bloke: Thanks [19:01] smoser btw, http://governance.openstack.org/resolutions/20150615-stackforge-retirement.html [19:01] i'm unsure what we want to do there due to that :-/ [19:01] back to launchpad :-/ [19:01] idk [19:01] launchpad + git? [19:02] https://review.openstack.org/#/c/192016/ did merge recently (the goverance blah blah) [19:02] * http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/meetings/tc/2015/tc.2015-07-28-20.03.log.html#l-11 [19:03] so the only change really is s,stackforge, openstack, [19:03] right ? [19:03] and http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/meetings/tc/2015/tc.2015-07-21-20.01.log.html#l-29 (more of the logs of that) [19:03] smoser seems like it, so far, yes [19:04] * harlowja personally i don't know why they are doing this, but whatever, lol [19:07] gotta do something. they're not paying people to sit on their hands. (only harlowja is so lucky) [19:07] lol [19:08] push the hay in that pile, no now move it to that pile, noooo now move it to that pile [19:08] lol [19:09] we can't all get by on our good looks. [19:09] lol [19:09] ha [19:09] so the annoucment there... doesn't seem to make any negative implications for "non openstack openstack projects" [19:09] but the discussion on 07-21 does [19:10] yup, that was my take on it to [19:11] ' jeblair: fwiw, both pecan and wsme will likely move back to github, not because of contempt, but because they're not solely used by openstack' ... [19:11] so ya, it confused me to [19:12] something changed after 7-21 that i haven't quite figured out lol [19:12] cause http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/meetings/tc/2015/tc.2015-07-28-20.03.log.html#l-11 was like no discussion, ha === natorious is now known as zz_natorious === zz_natorious is now known as natorious === natorious is now known as zz_natorious [21:17] smoser and how timely, http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2015-August/071816.html
