[04:58] <holstein> JACK will be the trick.., assuming thats what you need.. i say, dont just click around in the menu, just pick a task.. "i want to record my guitar", and we can talk about how you can do that..

[04:59] <holstein> if you want to just find out, basically "whats all these buttons do?".. i say, load up the live iso, so, you can poke around, and not do any damage..

[05:00] <cfhowlett> tanku, right.  menu and appearance is a bit diffferent in ubuntu studio.  click on the left top icon for the drop down menu > audio tools and ... audacity for audio mixing
