bluesabreUnit193: hah01:34
bluesabreUnit193: and yes, much prefer apt over yum01:34
bluesabreor whatever is in use now01:35
Unit193dnf01:35
bluesabreyeah01:35
bluesabredidn't like yum01:35
bluesabrereally really dislike dnf01:35
Unit193Oh?01:36
Unit193Huh.01:36
bluesabreat least from my minimal usage and annoyance01:36
bluesabreor maybe its because you can use both currently, but using yum once messes dnf up01:36
bluesabreor did for me :)01:36
* bluesabre is probably just a debian man01:39
bluesabredebianite01:39
Unit193'Upload patched xfce4-panel with xfpanel-switch integration'?01:47
bluesabrebutton to launch xfpanel-switch01:51
Unit193Like a virus?01:52
bluesabrelol01:52
bluesabremore like a "we need more ways to launch a single related app"01:52
bluesabreochosi is supposed to upstream that patch at some point01:53
bluesabreochosi: nudge nudge01:53
bluesabreUnit193: the patched version is chilling in xubuntu-staging if you want to take a look01:57
bluesabreochosi: hide the power-manager plugin charge label by default? https://code.launchpad.net/~bluesabre/xubuntu-default-settings/hide-xfpm-label/+merge/26970102:46
bluesabrehttps://i.imgur.com/zw1UGBz.png02:47
bluesabrefor reference02:47
bluesabreochosi: so for panel layouts, I'll add "GNOME 2", "Xfce", and "Redmond" to xfpanel-switch, and we can add "Xubuntu 12.04" and "Xubuntu 14.04" as ubuntu-specific patches03:00
bluesabrewell, it would have been a faithful reproduction, https://i.imgur.com/ogfhoni.png03:17
bluesabrebed time, night all03:18
knomemicahg, any idea when you'd be getting to your work items?14:32
knomemicahg, or should we look for other people to look at some of the stuff, when there is still time before the freezes?14:32
melodiehello14:33
melodiewhen I want to install virtualbox-gues-x11 it refuses because it needs "xorg-video-abi15" and "xserver-xorg-core". When I install both at same time (using apt-get) it installs them, and it triggers a huge change, removing all xserver lts packages and replacing them with the non LTS versions. Question : is that the expected behavior? Or is it a bug?14:34
flocculantmelodie: knome said can't be #xubuntu-devel ;)14:34
flocculantI'd try asking in #ubuntu-devel - if nothing else they might have a clue who to talk to 14:35
flocculantand hi knome 14:35
knomehello flocculant 14:35
knomemelodie, well, this channel isn't for bug reporting either...14:35
knomemelodie, it is a development channel for sure, but not a bug tracker14:35
melodieokok14:37
knomebluesabre, is #1482626 ready for a FFe request? or do you need to prepare it further?14:44
knomebug 148262614:44
ubottubug 1482626 in blueman (Ubuntu) "FFe: Please merge blueman 2.0-1 (universe) from Debian stretch (main)" [Wishlist,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/148262614:44
knomesilly bot14:44
knomeUnit193, would you mind helping upload gmb 1.1.15 to debian?14:44
knomeUnit193, and/or xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin14:45
knomewho's even doing that, it's WIP but assigned to -devel14:45
flocculantcan we stop the bot being interested in qa trello - not sure it's needed now it's not used much14:45
knomealso, bug 1388922 seems like a low-hanging one14:47
ubottubug 1388922 in xdg-utils (Ubuntu) "xdg-open doesn't properly detect Xfce/Xubuntu" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/138892214:47
knomeflocculant, i don't mind the messages either, though14:47

knome"xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin: Upload to Debian"20:41
Unit193Heh, I meant that, auto-sync is off.  Yeah, he's been missing for days.20:42
Unit19317th.20:42
knomeanyway, did you work with the pa-plugin too?20:42
Unit193Pushed that and xfdash to alioth/pkg-xfce, poked Corsac and he's at least looked at it a little.20:43
knomei just gave those works items for you :]20:43
knomenot that you need to do any more for them than so far20:44
knomejust to track who's doing what20:44
ochosibluesabre: i don't mind hiding the label, but that patch only applies to xfpm>=1.5.x which we still don't ship, so i'm not sure it's totally necessary already21:04
knomeahhh, ochosi 21:05

knomeochosi, then, make the window narrow (<600px)21:06
knomethere you see some quick access menu items21:06
ochosinice21:06
knomethe rest can still be accessed from the dropdown or the footer menu21:06
knomei'll likely change a few bits there, but that's the plan21:06
