nuclearbobDanChapman: using your branches, I'm able to complete the ubiquity process using the tests, but then it sits on the last dialog about rebooting until the test times out16:49
DanChapmannuclearbob: have you got SHUTDOWN=0 set in you runner config? that will keep the environment alive until it times out16:50
nuclearbobDanChapman: I'll check on that, thanks16:50
DanChapman:-)16:52
balloonsnuclearbob, DalekSec oO17:10
balloonserr DanChapman, sorry.17:10
nuclearbobballoons: I keep almost doing that17:11
* balloons awaits news it runs start to finish!17:11
nuclearbobballoons: it does. I'm working on landing the merge proposals17:11
balloonsWAHOO!17:11
DanChapmanballoons: hey!17:11
DanChapman\o/17:11
balloonsthis is most excellent. So we will have this running before final beta17:12

flocculantthat's awesome news and work from people \o/17:12
flocculantballoons: that's what comes from being about for years ;)17:13

nuclearbobballoons: when is final beta?17:13
flocculant21/22 September17:14
DanChapmanyw, glad to see them getting used again!17:14
flocculantis when it lands - 24th release17:14

flocculantha ha ha17:16
knomewait, the kingdom of balls?17:17
knomerubbery balls?17:17
balloonsmaybe we'll just call it KOB17:20
knome(short for kingdom of balls)17:20
balloonswhatever you want it to be.. Just know I'm king17:21
knomethe king of balls17:21
* knome ponders17:21
knomeok17:21
nuclearbobcool. I hope KOB is on friendly terms with the Nuclear Empire17:21
knomewell it's definitely in very good terms with the land of the sausage17:22
* balloons wonders if #ubuntu-quality is becoming the next #ubuntu-forums17:23
flocculantit's like Dick Emery in here17:23
knomedick?17:23
knomeoh my...17:23
knome:X17:23
knomeballoons, how's the diplomatic relations with the land of the pie at the moment?17:24
* knome hides17:24
balloonsI do love pie17:25
balloonsso nuclearbob, you expect we'll have dailu builds soon enough then?17:26
nuclearbobballoons: we have daily builds, with any luck they'll be useful once the tests run correctly out of the branch17:26
* knome is wondering if balloons is getting the intentionally ambiguous nature of the questions17:26
nuclearbobknome: I like pie!17:27
DanChapmanWill there be or is there somewhere I can look to see the results of the daily builds?17:30
knomenuclearbob, pie charts?17:31
nuclearbobDanChapman: there are some here: https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/search/?q=ubiquity17:32
DanChapmannuclearbob: excellent, same location as previously then. Will re-enable my rss feeds for them then17:33
nuclearbobDanChapman: balloons just pointed out we're not running flavors there, so I'll be working on standing that up17:33
balloonsrighto ^^17:34
DanChapmanokey doke17:34
balloonsso, for reporting, I'd like to see us pushing results to the tracker itself17:35
balloonsin the little titlebox. Perhaps a summary on the main page, and more detail for specific isos on those pages? Sometime to start though would be good17:36
cyphermoxDanChapman: hey hey17:41
DanChapmancyphermox: howdy17:41
cyphermoxreviewing your ubiquity changes17:41
DanChapman:-) awesomes17:42
DanChapmanballoons: so where on the tracker are you thinking of displaying results. I still get lost on that thing so you will have to point me to the right place :-D17:43
cyphermoxany reason to hack around limitations in ubiquity rather than adding ids to buttons if you need them? :)17:43
flocculantDanChapman: pretty sure we'd discussed adding to the Notice Board - http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/ - balloons will correct me if I'm wrong17:44
balloonsyea, that's the name.. it was escaping me before sorry17:45
flocculantballoons: looking at that page - do we need Find a bug there?17:46
balloonscyphermox, we'd love proper ids for everything. I'm sure DanChapman would be happy if you could do such things17:46
balloonsflocculant, I still find that chart handy. But we can tweak it once we have results17:47
flocculantballoons: given that you can't actually do that till you're in a build and it's repeated there17:47
balloonsI don't want it to just get bigger17:47
flocculantimho Find a Bug is useful http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/340/builds17:47
balloonsyes, we'd need changes to not repeat it17:47
flocculantbut less so on the front page17:47
flocculantjust a thought :)17:47
cyphermoxballoons: DanChapman: so what I'm saying is that I'm happy to merge, say https://code.launchpad.net/~dpniel/ubiquity/fix-1480430/+merge/270243, but feel free to change things in ubiquity directly rather than working around them :)17:48
cyphermox(or file a bug "matt should add an id to blah blah button" ;)17:48
balloonshehe, and just assign it to you too eh?17:50
flocculant:)17:50
DanChapmancyphermox currently the ubi_question_dialog just has a GtkButtonBox but no actual buttons defined which IIRC they are added at run time depending on the output of d-i?? (i may be wrong here)17:51
cyphermoxpossibly yes17:51
cyphermoxI can probably conjure up something to make it a bit easier to pick the button you want17:52
cyphermoxI'll file a bug in a bit, for now I'll just merge the branch as-is17:52
DanChapmanThat would be awesome if you can!17:52
