[18:45] <sunstar> i dont have first hand experience with that one, but i've never had a problem with hauppauge cards in ubuntu studio before.
[18:46] <kidx> so how do I go about setting up this I never done this I jsut want to broiadcast live you know and save on resources as windows is a pain

[18:51] <sunstar> i have a pile of hauppage cards.   i usually use VLC or install WinTV under wine

[18:55] <kidx> i tried installing the programs on linux but nothing worked all crashed
[18:56] <kidx> my issue is I cant find with input it is coming in on you know /dev/hdpvr should be it but it aint working at all any ideas I am thinking Ubuntu Studio my support thgis casue its a studio os ment for this you know?
