It can handle 100 Mb/s on the back bone and has a slight claim to fame that one of release team asked for the link on release day about a zero day bug owing to the fact cdimage was struggling... it and cdimage average 10Mb/s transfers, so I've got a guess as to who provides canonical internet :P
