I can probably just disable the locking timeout so that it will never lock itself to get around this, but does anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm using TightVNC Viewer on WIN10_x86-64, but I don't think it makes a difference, since I can VNC in just fine if I connect to it before the lock screen activates. I have "log in automatically" set so that if I get locked out I can just reboot the whole machine to get back in.
