[06:28] goed dankie en self seun [06:28] Okerig , raasie baie nie [07:06] good mornings [07:34] hello inetpro [11:44] Good afternoon kulelu88 [11:44] You're here early [11:44] hey gremble . Yeah, trying to learn some stuff about postfix [11:45] Going to try and get into email? :P [11:46] somewhat yeah. I am trying to figure out how to make postfix talk to python [11:46] Oh alright. Interesting [12:18] hows the studies gremble [12:22] Going lazily. Went through my work, but now I lack the motivation to go through it again because it is no longer interesting. I wish I could get exam-like question sets, but the lecturers are so stingy with old exams [12:24] kulelu88: Do you know https://soundcloud.com/blacktigersexmachine? [12:25] try studynoteswiki for old exams [12:26] I know they got copyright violations letters from unisa for keeping old exams [12:29] Oh, thanks for this site [12:29] This is pretty cool [12:29] :o [12:30] time to launch my own exam-sharing site [12:30] I think so [12:31] This one is missing exams [12:31] really brutal name also: examshare.info :d [12:31] What you do is you get the exams in pdf, then you just extract the questions as individual parts [12:31] So that you don't actually violate copyright [12:31] Then you have a question database from which you can either model more questions, or just combine them to make novel exams [12:32] that is actually a really sick idea [12:32] extraction will be hard though [12:32] Yup [12:32] But I am sure you can employ some computer vision techniques [12:33] You only need a few, then you could probably make an algorithm to make new questions [12:33] for mathematics at least [12:33] I don't know about other subjects [12:33] For BCom subjects I suspect it will be harder [12:34] I don't think I'll bother to go that far. Just extracting the questions will be enough [12:34] :P [12:34] Well there you go then [12:35] want to be co-founder? :D [12:37] Haha I would, but I am not sure what I would be bringing to the table other than my charm. I don't have the coding expertise to even attempt such a project [12:40] the most difficult part would be extraction [12:40] the rest if crud stuff [12:41] Getting actual papers is not that easy either. [12:41] And sorting them against topic [12:41] That is what makes exam papers from a specific course so useful [12:41] Because it generally has a specific scope [12:41] getting them will be student driven [12:48] unisa just don't want people to see all the mistakes in their exam papers :P [12:49] Do you know how many spelling and grammar errors I fix in exam papers? [12:49] I'm going to start to take a red pen in with me and mark the examiners spelling [12:52] nothing will get you more in their favour for a 49 can be made 50 by doing that ;) [12:52] Haha I don't get 49's [12:52] :P [12:53] If you want to be as arrogant as I am, you at least have to perform [16:39] Can you please taka a look at my UPDATED quesion in here → https://redd.it/3tb6ci [17:44] good evening [17:45] hi magespawn [18:03] hi theblazehen, whats up?
