gQuigsso following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Dev/KernelBugFixing but there is no debian/control or changelog file, where do those come from?15:08
gQuigsthanks for the response over the w/e :)15:08
gQuigs(specifically it fails on test building the patch - or can't edit the changelog because one doesn't exist)15:10
apwgQuigs, if that is a git checkout then those files are missing until you clean, the real changelog is in debian.<branch>/changelog, likely master in the normal case15:14
apwfakeroot debian/rules clean15:14
gQuigsapw: awesome thanks!15:16
gQuigshmm.. for some reason I didn't have kernel-wedge installed which seems important15:16
apwgQuigs, yep, you (in theory) need all the build-deps installed to clean it, though in fact for the kernel, kernel-wedge is the only one15:18
gQuigsah, I use doing apt-get build-dep linux-generic.. which is just a meta package.. oops15:20
jderoseany chance 4.2.0-19 will be released today? :)17:50
crshmanHey Guys, looks like the intel nightly's stopped building again. Could someone look into this? http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-nightly/current/20:23
gQuigscrshman: seems like the same issue as the daily lnet/lustre driver20:44
gQuigshmm.. I see that was talked about here: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Linux-4.4-rc2-Spun-For-Ubuntu20:45
crshmangot it, thanks gQuigs 20:47
