knomebluesabre, a very early WIP00:00
knomebluesabre, well, a PoC really00:01
bluesabreknome: http://i.imgur.com/rWO4Yvz.png same here00:02
knomehmm00:02
knome:P00:02
knomelooks like poop there00:02
bluesabre:D00:02
knomedid you copy over the new files?00:02
knomeand the updated css too? :P00:02
bluesabreI'm grabbing bits and pieces00:03
knomehaha00:03
knomeok00:03
bluesabreits on top of bootstrap00:03
geniiWhy CC as default license and not GPL ?00:03
knomeit looks very corporate way to approach a dynamic project :P00:03
ali1234genii: because GPL makes no sense for images00:04
geniiHm00:04
ali1234i mean unless your image is generated in pov or something00:04
geniiIf it's SVG it contains instructions on how it's made, I think00:05
bluesabreknome: using symfony and bootstrap, doing the project in a fun frameworky way00:05
knomebluesabre, read: corporate00:06
bluesabrenah00:06
knomeyeah00:06
knome-e00:06
bluesabrecorporate around here is often code thrown at a wall until it works... then that guys leaves and a new guy throws more code at it00:06
bluesabre:D00:06
knomeyeah, but corps always require people to use frameworks00:07
knomewhich makes it all *look* really corporate00:07

ubottuxubuntu-artwork (source: xubuntu-artwork): Xubuntu themes and artwork. In component universe, is optional. Version 15.12.1 (xenial), package size 12 kB, installed size 65 kB07:13

Unit193flocculant: Speaking of which, plymouth work right?07:27
ochosibluesabre: looks nice that!09:38
flocculantUnit193: sorry - missed that - plymouth work wrong09:44
Unit193Yup.09:44
flocculantseems to be everyone except ubuntu atm 09:45
Unit193Yeeeep.  They changed plymouth not rightly.09:45
flocculantyea - he's looking later 09:46
Unit193OK, nice.09:46
flocculant<didrocks> flocculant: I'm fixing/releasing Ubuntu Make and then, I'll work on this09:46
knomebluesabre, better :P11:24
knomebluesabre, except that apparently chrome doesn't handle flex quite the same way as ff11:24
flocculanthttp://i.imgur.com/oK6obA9.png11:34
flocculantdaily after install11:34
knomecool wallpaper11:35
flocculantI was hoping for white11:35
slickymasterWork?! flocculant ?!11:35
flocculantplymouth weirdness 11:35
slickymasterWorkoh, the color 11:35
slickymasterWorkyepas11:35
flocculantand plymouth is weird, all those Devonians 11:36
bluesabreknome: not using flex, using bootstrap and grids11:47
bluesabreflocculant: stop breaking our login11:48
bluesabre:P11:48
knomebluesabre, start using flex then11:51
knomegrids are so last day11:52
knomeflexes allow you to forget js (even) when you want to make two containers next to each other (dynamically) the same height11:52
bluesabreknome: I'll play with flex today/tonight11:53
knomebluesabre, see the css source for my draft11:53
bluesabreyup11:53
knomebluesabre, you basically only need "display: flex;" for the container11:53
flocculantbluesabre: you told me to find bugs :D12:25
bluesabreflocculant: find bugs, not cause them >:D12:26
flocculantha ha ha 12:26
flocculantnice to catch these things as soon as they happen and then be able to catch the person who did it 12:30
flocculantmakes everything a lot simpler :)12:30
flocculantthe text warning on first update is apparently a cosmetic issue, the black screen is too :p12:31
flocculantbut the black bit is being looked at :)12:31
bluesabre:)12:32
flocculantbut I don't think we'll see it this side of Monday 12:33
ochosiflocculant, Unit193: if you want me to mail someone about -core let me know! (if you can help with the content of the email too, that'd be great, i'm not sure about the status quo of this)13:33
MrTuliashi14:08
MrTuliasI want to edit the link https://gist.github.com/e42845f3535ab1d2f1e714:10
MrTulias in the list of the page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Hardware. How can do it?14:10
flocculantMrTulias: to be honest I'm not sure why people even bother doing that14:17
flocculantif you do want to do it - don't edit the gist, rerun the command and get a new gist link I guess14:20
MrTuliasAh, I thought this made things easier14:21
MrTuliasthanks14:22
krytarikMrTulias: I take it you mean you want to *add* yourself with the link there - just click on "Login" at the top of the page, and have at it: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Hardware?action=login15:54
flocculantand good luck logging into the ubuntu wiki - especially for something no-one apparently uses :)15:55
MrTuliasI' ll keep the link and if necessary paste it16:10
vuk_hello17:36
vuk_I am trying to boot my Thinkpad L420 from USB with Xubuntu 15.10 in it, but it will not boot up on this laptop. It boots up fine in my other Thinkpad. Any idea why?17:36
vuk_I get to the screen with the options "Install, Test without installing, etc", I select one of them, it splashes once, then it gets stuck there!17:37
vuk_So annoying.17:37
geniivuk_: Might be better to enquire in the support channel and not the developers channel17:38
vuk_genii: thanks, will do17:39
