mparilloI see https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152554116:58
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1525541 in Kubuntu Website "Typo on front page" [Undecided,New]16:58
mparilloI would be happy to fix, but who can grant me credentials to the website?16:58
sgclarkmparillo: ovidiu-florin I believe.17:01
mparilloovidiu-florin: Assuming you want to share the burden, feel free to e-mail the first address on my launchpad account (marco-parillo)17:19
sgclarkyofel: any idea how we should handle this pile of failures for s390x? looks like tons of scary missing symbols. 17:21

sgclarkumm I am not sleeping, why does irc seem to think I am, this is bazaar.17:40
sgclarkwell it looks like launchpad is too busy failing s390x builds to build any of my current work. off to be productive somewhere else.17:42

ovidiu-florinwhat do you guys think of this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-website/+bug/142948518:32
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1429485 in Kubuntu Website "Download section: please also offer md5sum" [Undecided,New]18:32
ovidiu-florinwhy was SHA chosen?18:33
ovidiu-florinahoneybun: ideas?18:33
vertago1md5 is not cryptographically strong anymore18:40
vertago1so someone could conceivably modify the ISO and the MD5 would still match18:40
vertago1SHA hasn't been broken yet18:40
vertago1https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collision_attack#cite_note-218:42
vertago1ovidiu-florin: Does that answer your question? It is debatable whether or not it would make sense to include both. One side would argue it would allow people to verify using an insecure method while the other side would probably argue that having both actually makes it better since it would be even harder to find a collision on both at the same time.18:44
yofelsgclark: merge stuff from debian in that case, they've had s390x for a while already20:01
sgclarkyofel: ahh. mostly qt4 stuff, gonna have to backburner for a bit. thanks20:38
clivejo2 weeks ago Rohan dropped the octave patch for cantor in kubuntu_unstable, which seems to build on KCI, but the kubuntu_stable branch is still FTBFS. Doesnt KCI auto-merge into kubuntu_stable when unstable builds succesfully?  Where do I find the automerge logs to check whats wrong21:29

clivejoits not important23:06
